Q: Who Is Darris Rushing?

I am Darris Rushing popularly known as “D Rushing” a 24 yr.old from San Francisco California. I am a celebrity wardrobe stylist and styling educator and currently enrolled at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University.

Q: What do you aspire to be?

 

I aspire to be more than I was yesterday, of course I have life goals, but I aspire to just be great in my craft and be the brain. My goal is to be the CEO of my own styling agency and school.

 

Q: Say something about your background in styling?

 

D. Rushing said: “My grandmother is my biggest inspiration. She taught me everything I needed to know when it came to fashion. She taught me how to express myself and make fashion my own. My grandmother is the most fashionable person I know so the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree

 

Q: What sparked your interest in fashion?

 

The Matrix Stylist states: “I never sparked an interest in fashion,because I know fashion is my life. I felt it was meant for to be in fashion as it was instilled in me at an early age hence my love for styling and making people look good”

Q: What is it you like best about being a Stylist?

What I love about being a stylist is the response and feedback after styling a client, that confidence knowing that my clients are happy and feel good. “NOW THAT’S WHAT KEEPS ME GOING “said: Rushing.

Q: When and how did it all begin?

 

“As a stylist it all started when I graduated in 2017. I decided to moveout in Atlanta to further my education at Clark Atlanta University. I first started working as an intern for a record labelwhere I was not feeling the spark. Because I know fashion was my calling I began to network and promote myself in and around Atlanta as a stylist and the rest is history”

 

Q: If you could be something else in this world, what would it be and why?

 

I would be an interior decorator,” because I love the whole creative process of making thing’s beautiful.
