Tahiry Jose Featured Reality Show Star ( 2018)

Who can you say is Tahiry Jose?

The answer to this question often changes for me. I try to make it a point to learn something new about myself every day so that I never stop growing. If I am to answer this question at this moment, I would say that; I am a woman who is finally understanding her "superpowers," learning how to use them to build a brand that creates multiple streams of income. I'm adventurous but still calculated. I'm open to love but always guarded due to past experiences. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a friend. I am a business owner, and I am a work in progress that is continually evolving.

What truly inspires you to keep doing what you do?

For me, it's always been, my mother. I watched my mom work hard and make sacrifices for her family that at the time I didn't understand. Now as a woman, I find myself following in my mother's footsteps. The examples that were set for me as a child are now my roadmap as an adult! I often say her fears also inspired me. There were certain things that she didn't do because of fear, and that stopped her. This pushes me to go even harder.

What are you identify as in your community?

I think it depends on whom you ask, but I identify as Afro-Latina.

Tell us about your professional shower singing?

Music makes my world go around! In the shower, I turn into a Grammy Award-winning singer, who performs from her soul! Outside of the shower not so much...LOL!

What are you working on now as your major project?

Focusing on turning my love of business into many different profitable ventures! I'm a co-host on the podcast: "Him, Him, and Her" featured on ThisIs50.com, I'm the proud owner of 718 beauty bar located in Hoboken N.J. I have a couple of shows releasing later this year, and a stage play called: Check List!

Is there a special someone you are sharing your beautiful heart with?

I'm privately getting to learn someone new and enjoying it.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

I always say that life has taught me a precious lesson. Never look too far into the future. In 5 years, I see myself being proud of the person that I am. I have come to an understanding that it's the decisions and choices that I am making RIGHT NOW that is creating what that person will look like! That's where my focus is... that's my mindset!

What do you want to leave as a legacy for your fans?
A blueprint that they can follow to achieve their dreams! I just want to be an example of what possibility looks like, if you dream past your fears and never give up!

What inspiration would you give to another Afro-Latina who wants to be on the scene but is afraid to shine?

You must have tough skin...relentless work ethic... protected relationships...and a definite understanding that beauty and talent alone is NOT going to be enough to sustain your stay here.
